With a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a lifelong passion for geriatric care, I pursued and completed a Geriatric Care Management (GCM) program. As a proud member of the prestigious Aging Life Care Association (ALCA), I established Golden Era Transition Support, LLC in Southwest Michigan. I believe that our golden years, when met with support, understanding, compassion and care, can be some of the most wonderful years of our lives.

Through this coordination, I aim to ensure that your loved one receives the essential care and support needed for their well-being.

I assist older adults and their families in exploring a range of housing possibilities, including assisted living communities and nursing homes, and offer advice during the decision-making process. Additionally, I aid in the relocation and coordination of required services throughout the transition to help in facilitating a more seamless and stress-free move.
I can coordinate meal delivery programs that provide healthy and nutritious meals to older adults at their homes, either daily or weekly. These services are designed to cater to special diets and dietary restrictions, ensuring that Seniors necessary nutrition and consistent, balanced meals.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) encompass essential everyday tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, using the toilet, eating, and mobility. When Clients require assistance with these activities, I can provide guidance and support. Whether care comes from a family member, friend, or professional aide, I can assist in coordinating and managing these services. In helping with ADLs, I contribute to preserving the independence and dignity of the elderly.
I can organize transportation services for older adults who are unable to drive, ensuring they stay integrated with their community and have access to essential resources. These services include rides to medical appointments, shopping centers, social gatherings, and other locations. I assist older adults in exploring transportation alternatives, which might include discounted fares, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, and additional resources provided by local agencies, nonprofits, and private firms. By managing these transportation services, I help Clients preserve their independence and remain active in community life, which is vital for preventing isolation and promoting overall well-being.
I recognize the importance of having support and reliable help for my Client's activities of daily living (ADLs) needs. These visitors may include friends, volunteers, religious community members, or family. Their visits can provide support, aid, and companionship through conversations, games, outings, or simply by listening and are designed to reduce social isolation and enhance emotional well-being.
